The Three Breath Patterns

  1. 1

    Nose in, nose out

    Short, sharp, rhythmic breaths through the nose to wake up the system and energise the diaphragm.

  2. 2

    Nose in, mouth out

    Inhale through the nose, exhale with a quick release through the mouth to clear heat and tension.

  3. 3

    Hands behind the neck - mouth in, mouth out

    Interlace your fingers behind your neck, open the chest, and take fast panting breaths in and out through the mouth to activate the upper lungs and stimulate circulation.
